About the founder

Jesus Antoshka has been working with clay for over fifteen years. He received a B.A. in Fine Arts with a minor in Ceramics from Dowling College, and during his tenure, has taught classes, led kiln firings, and consulted for a variety of personal and professional pottery studios across Long Island and the Greater New York area.

Jesus has also worked on commissions for professional artists and celebrities, as well as sold his work at the Parrish Art Museum, Longhouse Reserve, Clare V Amagansett & more.

In addition, Jesus spent several years at the world-renowned Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, where he worked on the maintenance and installation of the museum’s rotating and permanent exhibitions.

After having worked at a variety of institutions, he felt strongly about establishing a studio of his own to grow and foster a clay community.
